a little shiver
a bit lethargic
memories come rushing through my brain

fear arising
pain unrelenting
The tears come gushing down my face.

driving fast
praying hard
Lord I can't take another loss like this.

Some reassurance
A best friend’s visit
A promise it will be okay

A little tail wag
A bit of a jump
The relief comes flooding over me.
