Nope - he loves me still. He told me so! He even said he was going to write to me, even if I hadn't written to him. I believe him because one of the qualities that he possess is integrity. He is truthful, even when it is painful.
Of course, we are still apart (and will be for at least a year and probably more) and need to figure out how to make that work. But oh, I just can't get past the beauty of his letter to me. I've reread it 5 times, at least, by now. I'd love to post it for you to read, but feel it would be wrong. But, he wrote, "I do know that for 20 years you have never left my thoughts... and now that your back, I would like you to remain. I don't want to close that door, either."
I don't know how this will play out, but I'm ready to go on this crazy adventure. I'll keep you posted here with my thoughts, feelings and as always, will listen carefully to your advice. Because if it weren't for two of you, I might not have written the letter or be open to this crazy situation.
